Opening Doors is a speaker series for thoughtful storytellers whose ideas spark reflection, challenge assumptions, and open new ways of understanding. Each event features a featured talk followed by a moderated conversation with attendees, creating space for honest dialogue and shared learning.

A Mother’s Hope | Tara Campbell

Join us on May 7 for an unforgettable evening with award-winning journalist Tara Campbell, featuring a screening of her television documentary A Mother’s Hope. 

Tara, a Gracie and Edward R. Murrow Award-winning journalist with ABC7 News in San Francisco, is known for her deeply human storytelling and commitment to elevating marginalized voices. In A Mother’s Hope, she follows three mothers as they fight to save their children from cycles of homelessness, addiction, and mental illness, offering a raw and intimate look at a crisis impacting families across North America. 

The screening will be followed by a moderated conversation with Tara, exploring the stories behind the film and the urgent questions it raises.
