Matinee Café: Grey Jazz Big Band – A Concert to Remember

In honour of Remembrance Day, Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe hosts an intimate, afternoon performance featuring the sounds of the 1930s, ‘40s, and ‘50s, expertly performed by the 19-piece big band.
Formed three decades ago at the Good Companions Centre, the Grey Jazz Big Band offer an entertaining program of music ranging from the big band era to popular modern hits.
Over the years, the band has performed at high-profile events including a Royal visit, the opening of the Canadian War Museum and the Ottawa Jazz Festival, delighting audiences both young and young-at-heart.
This show will be followed by coffee and treats.
