Join Whitehorse for the third annual Whitehorse Winter Classic — a holiday concert and fundraiser in support of Ladybird Animal Sanctuary. This seasonal celebration will feature songs from their acclaimed holiday album, festive favourites, and highlights from across Whitehorse’s award-winning, genre-spanning catalogue. The duo of Melissa McClelland and Luke Doucet will be joined by their stellar band and an exciting lineup of musical guests, including Ron Sexsmith, Terra Lightfoot and Georgia Harmer.
Whitehorse
Whitehorse is the prolific partnership of Melissa McClelland and Luke Doucet. Uninhibited by expectation, boldly adventurous and categorically talented, Whitehorse’s signature sound is always guitar-heavy, harmony-plentiful and lyrically deft.
With an expansive run of records that freely and thrillingly dip in psychedelic country, pop noir, squalling blues rock and celestial folk, Whitehorse have pushed their musical identity into new realms and sounds for over a decade. As attested by five consecutive JUNO Award nominations in many different genre categories, Whitehorse do a lot of things, and do them well.
“Two singular talents even more perfectly in tune with each other than ever before.”
– Holler Country

Rooted in the collaborative spirit of Toronto’s tight-knit musical community, her songs move fluidly across a wide emotional range, shifting from soaring, cathartic anthems to hushed, intimate reflections with ease.

Terra Lightfoot
Seasoned rocker Terra Lightfoot has a well-earned reputation as a tireless live performer, with a tour history mapped across the globe and awards testifying to every mile logged along the way. To date, Lightfoot’s marathon tours have touched down in eight countries across four continents (including support slots for Bruce Cockburn, Blue Rodeo, The Posies, Matt Andersen, The Sheepdogs, and Willie Nelson). She also conceived, created, curated, produced and co-headlined The Longest Road Show, an all-female touring revue.
