Led by Côté Danse’s Rehearsal Assistant Kelly Shaw, this workshop offers dancers an introduction to the company’s movement style.

The class begins with a western contemporary-based warm-up focusing on strength, alignment, and coordination. Participants will then learn repertoire from Guillaume Côté and Côté Danse’s work, with attention to lines, form, and musicality. The session also includes improvisation tasks that explore individual movement within the framework of the choreography.
Kelly Shaw is a BFA honours graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University, and recipient of the University’s 2018 Jack McAllister award.
