Palace
Palace have been making music together for over a decade. What started out as carefree jam sessions between Leo Wyndham, Rupert Turner and Matt Hodges in an airless studio in North London established a DIY ethos that remains intrinsic to the spirit of the band to this day.
In early 2025, Palace took a career leap releasing the Greyhound EP on their own label, Palace Presents – a collective they’d started in 2016 as a monthly night at The George Tavern in East London, which had quietly grown into something more intentional. A positive and protected space as Leo described it, away from the usual constraints of the music industry.
“Kid” was released in April 2026, together with the announcement of a 30-date tour of the USA and Canada in the Fall of 2026, culminating in a show at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.
“Kid is about longing for a child an ocean away. It’s the ache we feel for our people when we’re separated from them. It doesn’t feel like a sadness or heaviness, but more an affirmation of that love, a primal release sung into the sunset as the road flies by.”
