Our first Cushion Concert! Children and families join the show, dancing, clapping and singing along with infectious songs. Kids and their parents scat-sing, become a rhythm section and join Chris McKhool and his musical friends from Sultans of String on stage to play rare percussion instruments from around the world!
Thank you to the Arts and Culture Fund of the City of Burlington for their support of this concert.
Chris McKhool:
Hailed as a “Children’s musical star” (National Post), Chris McKhool is one of Canada’s hottest musicians for young people. Chris has been delighting audiences with compelling songs and exotic world instruments for over two decades, reaching over 1 million children live in concert, and has appeared on Mr. Dressup, YTV’s Treehouse, TVOntario’s Crawlspace and the CBC.
Chris was just presented the Key to the City of Burlington for his work creating community through music. He is also a 4x JUNO Award nominee/7x CFMA winner. A champion of environmental issues, Chris created the World’s Largest Bicycle Bell Orchestra at Yonge-Dundas Square with over 800 bell ringers!
