Tangologie

Tangologie gathers dancers and musicians on stage for a unique show that brings to life the most poetic definition of Argentine tango as shared by Discepolo: “Tango is a sad thought that is danced.”

Argentine author Ernesto Sabato recalls that in less than a hundred years, millions of immigrants rushed to Argentina. “They not only gave birth to two of the characteristics of the new Argentine, resentment and sadness; they also paved the way for the advent of the most original phenomenon of the Rio de la Plata: tango.”

In this way, tango transgresses borders, arousing emotion and resonating in everyone wherever it goes.

Tangologie is a contemporary event, a festive ode to this universal music and dance.
