<p>Préparez-vous pour une soirée de textes bien pensés et de mélodies irrésistibles avec The Barr Brothers! Originaire de Montréal, cet ensemble dynamique tisse une tapisserie sonore qui allie parfaitement une variété d’influences musicales. Composé des frères Brad et Andrew Barr, et des prouesses de la multiinstrumentiste Sarah Pagé, The Barr Brothers défit les conventions avec leur fusion envoutante de folk, blues, rock, et autres.</p>
<p>Avec la voix pleine d’émotion et le jeu de guitare remarquable de Brad, les percussions puissantes et les rythmes entrainants d’Andrew, et les mélodies éthérées de la harpe de Sarah, chacune de leur performance est un voyage sonore varié. Des ballades acoustiques aux jams éclectiques explosifs, leur musique captive les publics avec son émotion crue et son énergie contagieuse.</p>
<p>The Barr Brothers ont lancé leur premier album éponyme, enregistré dans une chaufferie à Montréal, en 2011. Depuis, ils ont participé à deux reprises à The Late Show with David Letterman, plusieurs programmes de NPR, CBS This Morning Saturday, Canada AM, France Inter “Le Nouveau Rendez-Vous”, et plus encore. Ils ont partagé la scène avec The National, The War On Drugs, Patrick Watson, My Morning Jacket, Emmylou Harris et beaucoup d’autres. Leur plus récent album, Queens of the Breakers (2017), a poussé le groupe vers de nouveaux horizons sonores, puisant leur inspiration de la musique Indienne et de l’Afrique de l’Ouest, tout en faisant appel à une boîte à rythmes 808.</p>
